BAPTISM
Baptism can be found in nature. The term baptism can be compared to the germination of seeds. We are all seeds that came from our fathers and were grown in our mothers. For a seed to begin its growing process it must be fully wet to awaken it from its dormant state. After germination/baptism, the seed continues to be cleansed and nourished. The seed eventually must go into the ground. This can be compared with death, where we who are seeds go into the ground and die but have the promise of resurrection as a new plant transformed and beautified
Children in the bible are compared to fruit. All fruit, as stated in Genesis 1, bare seed.
Psalms 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
The germination process takes a few days and can be done at home manually, as a semi-automated process, or industrially on a large scale for commercial use.
Typically the seeds are first rinsed to remove soil, dirt and the mucilaginous substances produced by some seeds when they come in contact with water. Then they are soaked for 20 minutes to 12 hours, depending on the type and size of seed. The soaking increases the water content in the seeds and brings them out of quiescence. After draining and then rinsing seeds at regular intervals, they germinate, or sprout.
